How old do I have to be?

You have to be at least 18 years old.

Do I still need to apply makeup?

Microblading is a natural way to enhance your brows. It will not look like makeup. If you are looking for a makeup or “instagram brow” look, you will need to have a combination of microblading and shading done.

Will it hurt?

We do use a topical cream before and a gel in between. The first pass may be more painful depending on one's pain tolerance. The pain has been compared to threading or scratching.

How many sessions will I need?

Most clients will need minimum 2 sessions. I recommend making your touch- up appointment 6-8 weeks after your 1st session. Your 1st visit is to “build” and your touch up session is to “refine and perfect”. If you have little to no hairs, need corrective work or is oily you may need to come back an additional touch up.

What will my brows look like when its healed?

Retention will be different with everyone depending on their skin, lifestyle, skincare, health and aftercare. Some may retain the crisp strokes and some may look a little powdery.

Question 6

How often would I have to do it?

Over time, the tattoo will fade and need to be refreshed every 1-2 years.

Would my skin be appropriate for microblading?

Accepted Answer

If you have oily skin it may not be for you. The healed brows will not have the hair stroke appearance but may have more of a powdery diffused look Shading may be required and multiple sessions. 
If you have little to no hair, your brows will be harder to rebuild. It may take multiple sessions to perfect it. 
If you are anemic, the pigment may take differently and may have more bleeding or bruising.
If you have previous work done, you will need a consultation. If the pigment is too dark you may need removal first.
